My working career started in sales for a
large furniture store in McPherson, Kansas where my education
and experience with interior decorating and design was used.
After that I spent several years with Kit Manufacturing and
Modular Homes Manufacturing companies in Kansas. We have homes
in Llano Grande that were manufactured there. I selected and
designed decorating packages and worked closely with the factory
to implement these packages into the homes being built.
In 1972 I entered the real estate business and obtained a
broker’s license. I owned and operated a successful real estate
company until 2000 and was the principle broker.
In 2006 my husband, Boyd, and I visited the Rio Grande Valley.
Within a week we decided this is the place for us and bought a
home, first in Alamo Palms and then in Llano Grande Resort. We
looked for a resort where the people are friendly and you can
enjoy this great way of living. |
